Join us for a transformative 7-day journey to
"The Roof of Africa" - Mount Kilimanjaro
The tallest freestanding mountain in the world!

15-22 JANUARY 2025

Climbing Kilimanjaro is more than just a physical challenge. It mirrors the mountains we all face in life and business. Each step takes perseverance, teamwork, and a belief that you can reach the summit.

WHY CLIMB?

We all have our own mountains to climb. Whether it’s in our personal or professional lives, we meet challenges that push our limits and test our resilience.

Our motivation to overcome them is often multifaceted, such as the desire to break through barriers, achieve personal growth, and to experience a sense of accomplishment and renewed purpose.

At Accelerate Change, we believe that climbing Mount Kilimanjaro can serve all of these desires and is a powerful metaphor for the journey of leadership and entrepreneurship.

THE JOURNEY

Climbing Kilimanjaro with us will be a deeply transformative experience. While our physical pace will be slow, the psychological shifts are designed to be experienced in an accelerated manner.

Throughout the climb, you’ll engage in curated conversations and reflective moments that will challenge you, unlocking new levels of personal growth and breakthroughs. Our team will guide discussions around entrepreneurship, leadership, and social change—ensuring that you not only conquer the mountain but also conquer versions of yourselves.

Lemosho Route up Kilimanjaro with Accelerate Change
Summit of Mount Kilimanjaro
Kilimanjaro is one of the most accessible summits for beginners, and is often described as a moderate hike suitable for most people with an average fitness level. While no advanced hiking or climbing skills are required, it is usually the difficulty with high altitude that keeps the roughly 5-10% from not summiting. The unique 7-day Lemosho itinerary accelerates adaptation to high altitude, and additional short acclimatization hikes are offered daily to further improve outcomes. Additionally, the professional trip leader is Wilderness First Responder certified and guides carry various medications as well as supplemental oxygen to assist proactively with intolerance to altitude.

THE FILM

An Adventure Worth Sharing

Our journey will be captured in a docu-film, showcasing the highs, lows and breakthroughs of our collective experience. Together we will tell a story of overcoming challenges and share the wisdom, connections and achievements gained along the way.

This film will offer valuable insights into the entrepreneurial mindset, leadership and team work required to achieve success, in turn inspiring the next generation of leaders.

#ClimbForChange

As we prepare to summit Kilimanjaro, we recognize the importance of leaving a lasting impact beyond the personal benefits we will experience from our climb.

Accelerate Change is partnering with nonprofits, schools and community leaders in Tanzania to teach skills in entrepreneurship and leadership, which will support residents to grow their own ideas and drive social impact within their own communities.

This isn’t about imposing our solutions, but creating opportunities for them to lead, innovate, and inspire within their own context.

Our partnership with Tanzanian schools will help nurture a generation of problem solvers, empowering them with the tools they need to thrive, long after our journey ends. Your all-inclusive climbing package with us helps to support these initiatives.
